Celebrating decades of dedication to music education and performance, the Music Institute of Chicago welcomed nearly 270 guests to its Annual Gala Benefit at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago. The event raised more than $900,000. Highlights of the evening included the presentation of the David and Dorothy Dushkin Award to Marcus Roberts, the Richard D. Colburn Award for Teaching Excellence to Erica Anderson, and the Cultural Visionary Award for Chicago to Fran and John Edwardson.
