What excites you most about the future of your industry? The emergence of real estate tokenization—and the long-term potential it holds to reshape residential real estate as we know it. Tokenization allows real property to be divided into digital shares, or tokens, on a blockchain. While it’s currently being piloted mostly in commercial and high-value investment properties, the technology’s ability to fractionalize ownership, increase transparency, and lower barriers to entry could eventually trickle down to the residential space in meaningful ways. In the future, homeowners may be able to sell fractional stakes in their properties to investors, providing a creative way to access liquidity without taking on debt. First-time buyers might be able to co-invest in homes through tokenized platforms, helping them get into markets that once felt out of reach. That’s a future worth being excited about.
What’s a trend you’re embracing—or challenging? We are embracing AI as a powerful tool to elevate the client experience. However, we’re also challenging the notion that AI can replace human connection in real estate. Buying or selling a home is deeply personal, and while we leverage technology to enhance our efficiency and insights, we remain firmly rooted in the belief that trust, empathy, and local expertise can’t be automated.
What legacy do you hope to leave behind? The Tara Kelleher Team hopes to leave a legacy of lasting, positive impact by elevating the standard of service in residential real estate—not just for today, but for the future of the industry.
