Since graduating from Notre Dame Law School in 2010, Matthew D. Elster has focused his practice on civil appeals, both as a law clerk for an appellate court justice and in private practice, primarily representing domestic relations clients in all stages of trial and appellate litigation. Elster, who serves on the Associate Board of One Tail at a Time, an animal rescue agency in Chicago, says his deep knowledge of the law, a wide breadth of legal experience, and his ability to craft winning arguments sets him apart from the competition. “It’s not over until it’s over,” he shares with his clients from the start. “Invariably, every case that goes to trial involves a winner and a loser.
