Linly Designs has reason to celebrate. Their first design studio, which opened in 2007 and consisted of 1,000 square feet, has blossomed into a 10,000-square-foot showroom celebrating its 10-year anniversary. “We have expanded several times and now showcase a more than 10,000-square-foot showroom of high-end furniture, home accessories, lighting, hand-made rugs, several custom cabinetry displays, a design/meeting center, and a custom floral studio,” says Jennifer Sterna, general manager at Linly Designs in Clarendon Hills. Over the past decade, Linly Designs has become known for their high-end designer furnishings and one-of-a-kind details. Customers often feel as though they have stepped into an old-world European villa when entering Linly Designs. Yet, potential clients soon realize that Linly designers can tackle any project, from Tuscan/European to upscale contemporary. Says Sterna, “We feel that a great designer can work with any style and we have proven that over and over again.” The designers at Linly Designs pride themselves on personalized projects which stem from cohesive designs that are complimentary to the architectural details of the house itself but also functional for the clients’ lifestyles. “Our clients inspire us every day,” says Sterna. “All of our client projects are unique, interesting, and sometimes challenging, but we love to work one-on-one with the homeowners to determine the best overall design for their space.” Working directly with clients and keeping them abreast on the latest design trends is important for the designers at Linly, but because their design aesthetic is classic, their designs never go out of style. “We don’t follow trends, we set them,” says Sterna. “Projects we have completed several years ago are still as gorgeous as ever and that is our goal every time.” Regardless of your individual taste, Linly Designs can help you achieve your dream home. “The greatest part of being designers is helping clients design and create a space that they love to be in, that inspires them and makes them happy,” says Sterna. “Your home should be your sanctuary and we are very proud that we are able to help clients create a space they will enjoy and create memories in for years to come.”
