AGGIE BAUMERT joined forces with husband and partner Michael Baumert to found Baumert Law LLC—delivering the highest level of legal expertise to help clients navigate life’s major milestones, both personal and professional. With a thoughtful, informed approach to modern technology and IP concerns, they deliver strong results for businesses. Their compassionate care and personalized counsel across family matters also makes Baumert Law the leading firm for divorce, custody, and surrogacy negotiations. Based in Hinsdale and serving the Chicago area, the trusted advisors at Baumert Law support clients through legal complexities with confidence and commitment.
What excites you most about the future of your industry? The future of law lies in the passion of our clients, and their desire to move toward positive changes in their lives. As a firm that supports both family and business law, we’re actively helping these individuals realize their dreams. I’m most excited about the conversations we’re having as lawyers with clients about their goals. It’s a pleasure to deliver results for clients that are ready to change their lives for the better.
What conversations are you passionate about bringing to the table? As a firm, we’re advocates for a more transparent, simplified, and streamlined litigation process. We’re client advocates from the start and have a strong desire for education and understanding to be part of our delivery. If clients are well-informed, they will have a long-term appreciation for the legal system and how court orders and decisions impact their daily lives.
How do you give back to your community or industry? I’m a member of Hinsdale Junior Woman’s Club, where we actively volunteer and raise money to fund grants for local charities. I also belong to the Illinois State Bar Association and believe networking with, supporting, and exchanging ideas with fellow female lawyers elevates the industry overall.
How do you define confidence—and how have you built it? Since studying law and building my firm, I’ve found that growth follows confidence only when that attitude is backed by an appreciation and gratitude for all it took you to get there. Every step I take to be a successful lawyer has been met with a reverence for the legal system and all of its intricate details. I hope to pass that attitude on to my clients as well.
