Kyle Chudom, a Hinsdale resident for more than 25 years, dedicates his career to helping clients achieve their dreams. Early on, he realized that building a structured team and incorporating varied professional skillsets would be advantageous to his clients. Kyle was one of the first financial advisors at Morgan Stanley with this mindset and founded the Chudom Hayes Wealth Management Group, which has grown to 14 team members. “Financial planning is the cornerstone of our business. We are committed to helping our clients plan their financial future and maximize their savings and investments. We leverage our diverse talents and help our clients successfully navigate the complexity of each unique financial scenario,” says Kyle. The team also focuses on other areas of investing. There is an arm of the group that embraces women and wealth and the specific needs associated with women and investing. Kyle’s dedication is echoed by the women advisors on the team who specialize in that area of the business. He is also an Investing with Impact Director. As an early advocate of incorporating Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) into portfolios, his passion for investing with impact, led him to the creation of an ETF that invests solely in conscious companies. “One of our most important responsibilities is developing strategies that are suitable for our client’s distinct and specific needs”, he says. Kyle joined Morgan Stanley in 1984 and is a long-standing member of the Chairman’s Club, which recognizes the firm’s leading financial advisors. He is on the 2021 Forbes list of Best in State Wealth Advisors and 2021 Barron’s Top 1,200 Advisors and is quick to mention it would not be possible without the strength and support of his team.

The returns on a portfolio consisting primarily of Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) aware investments may be lower or higher than a portfolio that is more diversified or where decisions are based solely on investment considerations. Because ESG criteria exclude some investments, investors may not be able to take advantage of the same opportunities or market trends as investors that do not use such criteria.

Source: Forbes.com (February 2021). Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisors ranking was developed by SHOOK Research and is based on in-person, virtual and telephone due diligence meetings to evaluate each advisor qualitatively, a major component of a ranking algorithm that includes: client retention, industry experience, review of compliance records, firm nominations; and quantitative criteria, including: assets under management and revenue generated for their firms. Investment performance is not a criterion because client objectives and risk tolerances vary, and advisors rarely have audited performance reports. Rankings are based on the opinions of SHOOK Research, LLC and are not indicative of future performance or representative of any one client’s experience.
