Owner Mark King grew up in the Hinsdale area and has three children, including one who now works for the company.

What sets you apart from your competition? Workmanship. Most of our work is done in-house and we have incredibly high standards of craftsmanship. We have a great warranty, and all of our clients are given a dedicated company representative that sees the project from concept to completion.

Best thing about 2020 was? 2020 was a year for people to regroup with family. The functionality of their homes has changed. With many families spending more time at home, outdoor spaces have become integral to everyday life. We were extremely fortunate to be able to design and install outdoor living spaces for families to enjoy together. When a homeowner trusts you to create a space for their family, it is always a pleasure to deliver exactly what they envisioned.

Trends on the horizon? New architecture trends are translating to the outdoors as well with contemporary, modern clean lines, and gray tones. There is also a greater emphasis on year-round outdoor living. Fire features, heating elements, full outdoor kitchens (not just grill inserts), large comfortable furniture, and outdoor TVs are a trend that’s here to stay.

Where do you draw inspiration from? Everywhere. You never stop looking for ideas. When you stop learning, you stop growing!
