Glencoe Junior Kindergarten and Nursery School (GJK) raised more than $61,000 at its annual winter benefit, held at Hometown’s Uptown event space. Co-chaired by Jacqlyn Oshman and Isabelle Teplitsky, this year’s cowboy-inspired celebration welcomed more than 100 parents and staff members for an evening of community and fundraising. Guests enjoyed a lively cocktail party catered by Uptown, along with an impressive silent auction featuring sought-after items from beloved North Shore businesses and organizations. A festive dessert bar—complete with confections generously provided by JoJo’s ShakeBAR—added a sweet finish to the night. “The winter benefit is such a special event that we look forward to each year. GJK has a wonderful community of teachers, families, and children, and we’re so proud to celebrate and raise funds for this amazing preschool,” shared co-presidents Valentine Klutznick and Andrea DeVos. glencoejuniorkindergarten.org
