JOHN BOTTI

Hinsdale native and divorce attorney John Botti joined his father, Aldo Botti, a long established attorney and formerly elected Chairman of the DuPage County Board, at Oak Brook based Botti Law Firm PC in 2012. Having been appointed a DuPage County Assistant State’s Attorney after law school—prosecuting hundreds of felony crimes—John now uses his expertise to advocate on behalf of his divorce clients. John says he connects with his clients through empathy and a sincere desire to achieve the best possible outcome for them. The first thing he advises is that divorce is going to be difficult. “Our objective is to place you in a position to succeed in the next chapter of your life. And if children are involved, it is to protect the children and provide them with the needed financial support,” says Botti, who is also partner at Botti Law Firm PC with his brother Michael Botti, Jean Lasics-Wessels, and Aldo Botti. John provides a compassionate representation of his clients, and, when needed, aggressively advocates for them. “My goal is to help people get through a difficult time in their lives,” says John, who lives with his wife and three boys in the Western Suburbs. “When I think of how I got to where I am today, I think of Abraham Lincoln’s quote—‘Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend four sharpening my ax’.”
