The Joffrey Ballet’s Women’s Board hosted the inaugural JoffreyNEXT fundraising event at the Lyric Opera House. In celebration of the incredible talent of Joffrey’s students, JoffreyNEXT featured performances by Community Engagement students and the Grainger Academy, followed by an inspirational discussion between The Mary B. Galvin Artistic Director Ashley Wheater MBE and 2024 Winning Works Choreographer Houston Thomas on Thomas’ journey through the Community Engagement Academy to dancing professionally. Guests enjoyed refreshing cocktails, exquisite bites, and luxurious raffle prizes while supporting Joffrey’s education programs and championing the future of dance. joffrey.org
