Jennifer Froemel, CIMHP, has spent more than 30 years helping people bridge the connection between mind, body, and spirit. A bilingual Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and founder of Innovative Counseling Partners, PLLC, she is known for her integrative, trauma-informed approach that empowers clients to heal deeply and sustainably.
“Integrative care isn’t a quick fix,” Froemel says. “It’s about listening closely—to your emotions, your body, and the experiences that shaped you—so you can live in alignment, not survival.”
Her practice serves adults, couples, youth, and families using evidence-based methods such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, ART, and mindfulness. She works extensively with trauma, attachment, addiction, and mood disorders, and has long been an advocate for accessible, culturally responsive mental health care across Latino, African American, and LGBTQIA communities.
A respected voice in her field, Froemel serves as Lead Liaison to the Illinois Counseling Association’s Insurance Task Force and as an Advisory Board Member at Adler University. She has appeared on Fox, CBS, Telemundo, and PBS as a psychological expert and hosts The Fear of Change Podcast, where she explores how courage transforms fear into growth. Her leadership and advocacy has earned numerous honors, including the 2023 ICA Bea Wehrly Human Rights Award and Vogue Magazine’s “Women in Business – Chicago” feature.
