Jenn Barry, Chief Administrative Officer at Aaron Wealth Advisors, is a champion of connection and collaboration. “I served as a trusted resource to institutional money managers for 25 years. When I became an advisor, my focus shifted to helping people in their personal lives,” explains Barry, who works with the CEO and President at Aaron Wealth Advisors to manage daily operations, strategic planning, talent management, and cultural initiatives. “Now, as a senior leader of the firm, my goal is growing, developing, and managing our team as we strive toward client and firm success. My career has been built upon my ability to connect with others, build relationships, and find ways for everyone to succeed.” Her path to the investment world came indirectly from working in the family restaurant business. “Being in a small business teaches you many lessons—hard work, client service, and financial responsibility—but it also taught me I didn’t want to work in a restaurant,” she says. “I worked hard to get myself to Wall Street so I could find more opportunity and realize my passion and capabilities. I had an interest in the stock market growing up but then fell in love with economics my freshman year at University of Michigan. I think my choice of career was, and is, a great intersection of business and relationships.” Today Barry is raising her three children on the North Shore with the help of a supportive spouse. “I have so much respect for single parents,” she says, adding that her philanthropic passion is to help struggling, working mothers through Fellowship Housing and Habitat for Humanity. “The impact on my work has been putting my own challenges in perspective—sharing my passion with clients and prospects to ignite discussion and motivate others to find their passion.”
