The JDRF Illinois Chapter set a global record in December at its incredible gala—raising $7 million to cure, prevent, and treat type 1 diabetes (T1D). With more than 2,000 in attendance, guests participated in lively fundraising opportunities, enjoyed dinner, and a program featuring the Lacher Family and their story of life with T1D. The evening concluded with a rousing concert by Third Eye Blind. The 2019 gala co-chairs were David and Carrie Carlson. Michael and Sarah Alter served as Fund A Cure co-chairs, Glen Tullman served as fundraising chair, and Greg Wasson of Wasson Enterprise was the 2019 Honorary Corporate Chair. jdrf.org/illinois
