JENN BARRY is Chief Administrative Officer at Aaron Wealth Advisors, where she works directly with the CEO and President to manage the daily operations, inputs for strategic planning, and drive talent management and cultural initiatives. Prior to her current role, Barry was an investment advisor providing counsel to successful entrepreneurs, executives, and financial professionals on all aspects of their personal wealth. She started her career in investment banking and then spent almost 25 years in institutional equity sales at Citi, where she served as a trusted resource to professional investors working in the top echelons of the country’s preeminent asset management firms. Barry graduated from the University of Michigan in Economics (1994). In 2000, she became a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) and obtained her CFP® certification in 2023. Today, Barry lives in Chicago’s northern suburbs with her husband and three children.
Most rewarding part of what you do? Working with our team members to give them the tools and opportunities to help them reach their fullest potential. I thrive on seeing others succeed and achieve their goals!
How should women support other women? Women should not only look for opportunities to mentor other women, but to really be an advocate for them. Throughout my career, I have focused on building strong relationships with other women and making the effort to find ways to lift them up. I derive so much joy from seeing others, particularly women, succeed. I believe life is a journey, not a competition.
How do you inspire others? Over the last several years, I’ve lost a considerable amount of weight and completely changed my physical self. This health and wellness journey catalyzed my career change and gave me more control and balance. I try to inspire others and lead by example to show them that anything is possible.
