HINSDALE JUNIOR WOMAN’S CLUB SUMMER SOIRÉE

When 13 of the most dynamic women around pool their talents, the results rival any event anywhere, from the Hamptons to Malibu. Enter the Hinsdale Junior Woman’s Club (HJWC) Pink Party. “It’s a wonderful collaboration between the outgoing president and the incoming president,” says Jaclyn McNamara, who is closing out her tenure leading the 250-member organization.

The presidents are supported by a diverse group of women with different strengths and passions to put on a fantastic event.

McNamara explains that funds raised from tickets sales go directly toward fundraising grants for the 2022 – 2023 year while funds raised from sponsorships, raffle, and such will go to grants for the upcoming 2023 – 2024 club year.

Some exciting sponsors, including The Hampton Social, Budweiser, Tito’s Vodka, and Safeway Liquors will enhance the event. We’re really excited to be partnering with Julie Sutton and Anne Otzen of Compass Real Estate. What a treat to have the opportunity to enjoy Julie’s beautiful house,” McNamara says.

Sutton’s already-lovely home and gardens will be transformed to Instagram-ready perfection, like stepping into every influencer’s favorite for hot chocolate, Pink Mamma.

The Parisian theme is lightly inspired by the cult favorite brand Love Shack Fancy. Fête en Rosé will be like walking through the streets of Paris and emerging into a grand party. Attendees can expect lots of flowers, ruffles, bows, and other nods to the City of Lights.

“It’s a nice sendoff for those who have worked hard to make the year successful and a terrific welcome to the new board and members. This is an event that’s open to all. For women who are considering joining, this is a great chance to get a sense of what the club is about,” says McNamara. Those who cannot attend can participate virtually in the raffle and auction. “if something catches your eye, place a bid. It all goes to supporting the important work of meaningful organizations,” says McNamara.

It has been an exceptionally successful year for sponsorships and donations at HJWC. More than 700 businesses explored opportunities at the Wonderland-themed April Benefit. “The auction and raffle raised an all-time high $46,000. For the year, the club raised $422,482—the largest amount ever,” says McNamara.

This Summer Soirée is more relaxed, the perfect moment to spend time with friends and friends to be and raise a glass to being a part of something special.
