Hindman Auctions celebrated 40 years with friends and supporters at a private club in Chicago. Memories were exchanged over glasses of champagne and Leslie Hindman’s signature chardonnay. Hindman CEO Jay Krehbiel shared a movie tribute spanning the auction house’s four decades with great quips by Leslie Hindman fans including Chicago art leader and former Hindman Director of Fine Art Gary Metzner, interior designer Nate Berkus (who began his career at Hindman), and M.K. Pritzker. Leslie Hindman’s favorite flowers—white orchids—made grand appearances at every turn.
