HEAD OF THE TABLE

MARGHERITA LUTZ is a devoted mom of two and the creative spark behind Hinsdale Table. Seeing a gap in the event planning space, she wanted to bring something unique to the table. Leveraging her tenured career at Google and her MBA from Northwestern, she launched Hinsdale’s first boutique tabletop rental and design business. Her meticulously chosen pieces and keen eye for design create memorable settings that transform any event into an extraordinary experience.

Most rewarding part of what you do? The most rewarding part is getting to play a small role in special celebrations and milestone moments in my clients’ lives. From baby showers and bridal showers to birthdays and just-because dinners, life is meant to be celebrated and I love making it happen one beautiful table at a time.

How should women support other women? I love this question. I firmly believe that a rising tide lifts all boats. Support one another by sharing your experiences, knowledge, and relationships—these are your lifelines. There’s no need to gatekeep. Instead, embrace the spirit of collaboration and always pay it forward.

How do you inspire others? I inspire others to celebrate every day. You don’t need a holiday to break out the good china, and you don’t need a milestone birthday to throw a party. Life is short. I hope I inspire others to live life to the fullest surrounded by the people who fill your cup.

Definition of success? My definition of success is about being a good wife, a good mom, and a good friend. It’s also about being a champion for the people and causes I care about. Success means finding balance in these roles, nurturing relationships, and making a positive impact on the world around me.
