DR. TREACY ADAMO of Hinsdale Advanced Eye Care is a board-certified medical optometrist who provides a full scope of ophthalmic care to the Western Suburbs, including specialty services such as advanced dry eye management and aesthetics, myopia control, and vision therapy. She lives in Hinsdale with her four children and is excited about the new location for her practice on Ogden Avenue. “We now have an office space that is bigger and better to serve our patients,” Dr. Adamo explains. “We value our patient relationships and strive to improve your quality of life and vision wellness through uncompromised service and state-of-the-art technology.”
What excites you most about the future of your industry? I’m very excited about the direction that the eye care industry is going! New technology continues to evolve and provides more advanced ways to treat our patients. As a medical optometrist, I work hard to stay on the forefront of new technologies, new treatments and new techniques.
What conversations are you passionate about bringing to the table? I have more recently included ocular aesthetic treatments to our offerings. I enjoy teaching patients all of the nonsurgical options for ocular aesthetics not only to help them look younger but also feel younger with all of the medical benefits to these treatments.
How do you give back to your community or industry? I was involved in Hinsdale Juniors for many years. My practice continues to financially support local schools and organizations as well as support more national and international initiatives that work toward fighting blindness.
What legacy do you hope to leave behind? I hope that my legacy includes showing my daughters and other girls how to be a strong, independent woman who works hard to achieve her successes without being afraid to make mistakes or stumble along the way. I hope my patients see a caring empathetic doctor and practice who always puts their patients first and offers five-star customer service and best quality products.
