Exceptional Service

“If I’m up, I’m working,” says Ginny Stewart, a real estate broker with Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, who has been helping clients buy and sell homes in the Hinsdale area for the past 30 years. “I have fun, I love being with people, and I love what I do.”
Stewart describes herself as relentless—doing whatever it takes to deliver for her clients, and she attributes her continued success in the industry to that, in addition to her love for the work.
“Clients can totally depend on me. I’ll do whatever I need to do to get your home sold or get you in a perfect home. I’m available 24/7: most of my clients want that personal touch. They want to be able to call me when they’re making one of the biggest decisions of their lives,” she says.
After 30 years in real estate, Stewart’s approach obviously works. In addition to the highest level of service a client could want, Stewart is also an expert in real estate. She knows how to price right, stage well, and negotiate on behalf of buyers—especially in the Hinsdale area, which she also calls home.
She has expert skills in the business side of real estate, but she’s also developed a unique ability to unearth the true value of a home. In other words, houses have potential, and Stewart can help buyers find it. She’s particularly drawn to older homes in Hinsdale that are unique and quality-built. “Pictures make a huge difference in today’s marketing, but I don’t want to just look at the photos; I want to go look at the houses,” she says.
“I have to go in the house because I have to feel it. Houses have energy, they have vibes, they have moods. I can walk in and tell you exactly what you should do if you buy it. Most can use a little bit of a makeover, and some need more of a tweak than others.”
“Right now, buyers can get a good deal if they want to do a little bit of work,” Stewart says. There’s a rich appetite for new construction homes, but the sweet spot for Stewart is putting the interior features of a new home into an existing home; that’s how buyers can get the most for their money in today’s market. For sellers, a house must be show ready and priced appropriately for it to move fast.
Stewart is supported by an experienced team and the vast resources available from Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty. “I love the way Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty supports its agents,” she says. “Pairing real estate’s most trusted brand with innovative tools and superior marketing allows me to give my clients the support and exposure necessary to be successful in today’s market.” Stewart recognizes the power of the brand and credits Sotheby’s International Realty in opening the most prestigious of doors and creating opportunities that connect sellers and buyers world-wide.
“I love learning all the new technologies and systems that come into play. I stay up to date on all the newest and latest tools that all buyers and sellers have to market their homes,” she says. “But even with all the change, people still want a realtor they can relate to, and that’s what I do. I’ve been to countless weddings of the children of my clients. I’ve become a lifelong friend to them.”
