What do you consider the biggest challenge in the local real estate market today, and how are you addressing it?
The biggest challenge is the lack of inventory. There are simply not enough houses on the market. This shortage drives up prices, creates intense competition among buyers, and makes affordability a real challenge. This, combined with fluctuating higher interest rates, is making it more challenging than ever for buyers and sellers to navigate the market. This is why I focus on being strategic, resourceful, and adaptable to help my clients succeed, no matter the conditions.
The luxury market has its own dynamics. How do you tailor your approach when working with high-net-worth individuals or luxury properties?
Tailoring real estate services for the luxury market and high-net-worth individuals requires a personalized, discreet, and detail-oriented approach. It starts with trust and then understanding their unique lifestyles, preferences, and investment goals.
Many top producers also invest in real estate themselves. Do you have any experience with property investment or development? How has that influenced your perspective as a broker?
Yes, I chose to invest in vacation rental properties in both Door County, Wisconsin, and Rockport, Maine. These properties served as both personal vacation homes and successful short-term rental investments on Airbnb and VRBO—proving to be highly lucrative.
