How do you define “exceptional” in today’s luxury market?
Exceptional homes are remembered. What stands out is how a home feels: arrival moments, light, privacy, flow, calm, drama, or connection to nature. Exceptional luxury is not about mass appeal. It’s about resonance with a small, global audience that knows exactly what they’re looking at—and why it’s rare.
How does representing exceptional homes differ from traditional residential sales?
Traditional homes are evaluated by comps and features. Exceptional homes are evaluated by what cannot be duplicated. Often there are no true comparables. Value is framed through rarity, narrative, and long-term positioning rather than price-per-square-foot math.
How has the luxury buyer’s mindset evolved in recent years?
Luxury buyers are no longer focused on buying the biggest, most prestigious home on the block. Ultra-high-end buyers are deliberate and purpose-driven. They’re evaluating capital preservation, lifestyle alignment, and global alternatives.
What’s one standout transaction that reflects your expertise at the high end?
The Bentley Woods custom construction project was especially rewarding. I provided an end-to-end service approach by guiding my clients throughout the custom build process including early-stage vision, land evaluation and site strategy, builder and architect alignment, budget and timeline support, risk mitigation, and long-term value projection.
