Design Dominance

The past year has been a big one for Linly Designs, the full-service interior design firm and showroom in Clarendon Hills. First, it was the only U.S.-based interior design firm featured in Harry & Meghan – The Wedding Album, a coffee table book that chronicles the story of the prince and his new wife. It includes profiles on businesses that exemplify the royal aesthetic, and Linly Designs made the list.
Then, Linly Designs was also invited to be included in the Rolls-Royce Owners’ Club anniversary book, which brought the company another level of exposure. And finally, the firm now allows their loyal, out-of-state clients the option to purchase their everyday and holiday decor from Linly Designs’ Facebook page, shipping directly to their home.
There’s no better time than right now to visit the Linly Designs ever-changing showroom and experience the beautiful settings they continue to create for each season. Getting the showroom ready for the fall season is a long process that begins in June, when they first start creating their holiday displays. This year is all about warm tones and colors. Black and orange seems to be the go-to combination for the season, along with the welcoming scents of pumpkin spice. Linly Designs works with discerning clients to create interiors that can be as trendy or as traditional as their clients’ desire, but when it comes to the holidays, Linly is known for being consistently classic.
Linly Designs and its design team also offers clients something really unique. During a time when personalized services seems to be declining, Linly Designs is going just the opposite direction with Accessory Call®, which includes two in-home visits from the Linly Designs team to completely transform a client’s home within a matter of hours. The design team will visit a client’s home to see the space and consult on the areas to be completed. Next, the design team will deliver and place the hand-selected accessories in the home so the client can see what their space looks like completed to perfection. Customers can live with their personalized design for 24 hours before making a commitment, and any pieces they don’t wish to keep can be picked up the following day.
And while this is a great time to visit the showroom for holiday decorating ideas, the team at Linly Designs is always available for interior design needs, including painting, flooring, lighting, custom cabinetry, window treatments, complete home remodeling, and more. Clients have been moving away from greys and whites, going more for golds, tans and black with polished finishes—so that’s a lot of what you’ll see in the showroom on any given day. “Linen fabrics are trending out, too. It’s back to velvets and silks, and always all about the details like crystal embellishments and tassels.” Says the Linly Designs team.
Interior design trends are always evolving, but excellent customer service is always in style. That’s how Linly Designs has built its reputation and grown so consistently over the past 16 years.
And they’re just getting started.
Linly Designs is located at 445 Ogden Avenue in Clarendon Hills, 630-769-5099, linlydesigns.com.
