As the former CEO of a successful computer advertising and design firm, Joanna Koperski brings a unique background to the world of real estate. She’s designed and executed advertising campaigns, court boards for lawyers, and renderings and building plans for architects, which led to an interest in real estate and interior design.
“My final choice to move into real estate was a perfectly natural convergence of everything I love and enjoy,” she says. “I offer my clients the advantage of years of business experience as well as a deep knowledge and understanding of competitive advertising and marketing.”
Technology has revolutionized the real estate business and Koperski’s technical knowledge offers a distinct advantage to her clients.
“Staying on the cusp of information and technology has always been paramount to my business model,” Koperski says. “To maintain my position on the cutting edge of this business, I stay as educated and informed as possible to best assist my clients with their specific goals.”
She adds that in today’s Internet-based market, the accurate interpretation of data is a major factor in helping clients make the right choices.
“I find great satisfaction in gleaning the most pertinent and accurate information for my clients’ ultimate success,” Koperski says.
She also understands that for her clients, the devil is often in the details.
“I bring an obsessive insistence on attention to detail and a persistent drive toward solutions,” she says. “It’s part of my basic skill set.”
She adds, “The drive to succeed and resolve issues have enabled me to bring my clients success where positive results seemed beyond reach.”
This attention to detail—driven by her advertising experience—translates into an ability to offer sellers alternatives to expensive staging and painting.
“Quality, not quantity, is my objective,” she says. “All of my clients are guaranteed my personal dedication and thoughtful attention based on their
own individual situations.”
Koperski’s clients also benefit from her love affair with the North Shore community, which inspires her work.
“There is nothing more relaxing and invigorating than experiencing Lake Michigan’s shifting moods,” she says. “And inland, our well-designed and prosperous towns have from their onset been the haven for countless Chicagoans seeking a bucolic alternative to the constraints of city life.”
She adds that there’s no more exhilarating drive than up Sheridan Road in Evanston to the Wisconsin border, with its views of stunning properties and the lake shore.
“Easy access to all of our towns with the Metra and diverse highways offers a great opportunity to many seeking to meld the gentler rhythm of North Shore living with the prospect of working in Chicago,” she says. “It’s a choice my family happily made years ago.”
Most of all, Koperski finds satisfaction in helping families find a place to call home.
“This is an exhilarating business, forever changing,” she says. “There are so many wonderful people and every opportunity is different, every challenge is exciting. In the end, the greatest reward is the satisfaction of knowing that you have positively impacted so many lives. What a life!”
