A native of Hoffman Estates, Abra Engler attended Fremd High School and graduated from Roosevelt University with Honors. In 1974, Engler’s Grandfather started Engler Heating & Air Conditioning Co., which to this day remains her family’s business. Currently her father serves as the President, with Engler acting as business manager since 2012. On the side, Engler is a realtor with Zerillo Realty and in the past has volunteered to teach Faith Formation at St. Annes and Holy Family. She joined the Barrington Junior Women’s Club in 2015 and served as treasurer for the past year. Calling a condo in the village home, Engler lives with her rescue cat, Hunter, and when not working spends most of her time with family and friends. She enjoys trying new restaurants and can’t wait to get back to traveling to Europe!
