ASHLEY ROSSI may be known best as a thriving entrepreneur, but it’s her role as “mom” that gives her the most satisfaction. Currently living in Naperville with her partner Colton and their four children—Christian (20), Luca (8), Gray (8), and Evan (5)—Rossi grew up in Clarendon Hills and attended Gower Middle School. But it wasn’t until she watched the stunning 2008 documentary Food, Inc. that she found her true calling. As the owner of the clean baby food line Tiny Human Food®, Rossi now works tirelessly to teach parents the difference between the developmental capabilities of littles who are fed a clean, nutritious diet rather than the shelf-stable heavy metal laden status quo. This busy founder and CEO shares her favorites from her hometown in the country and on the town:
WHEN IN THE COUNTRY
Your style is? Practically cute. Driving music? Anything goes. Place to eat? Pappadeaux’s. Best thing about country? It’s beauty. The perfect day is? Taking a drive, being present while enjoying the beautiful homes/streets, and grabbing a great meal at Pappadeaux’s.
WHEN IN TOWN
Your style is? Date night: sleek and ready; family day: stylish and prepared. Can’t leave the house without? Shades. Driving music? Sinatra must be present. Place to eat? Ranali’s. The prosciutto and arugula pizza is unrivaled! Best thing about town? Driving down Lake Shore Drive on a sunny day. The perfect day is? A day at Navy Pier with the kids—a bike ride, good food, and sunshine.
