The Deerpath Garden Club of Lake Forest held its annual holiday luncheon at the festively decorated Glen Rowan House on Lake Forest College campus. JoAnne Egan, Katheryn Elmer, and Darlene Weber co-chaired the event while attendees enjoyed lunch brightened by a floral display of Art-in-Bloom arrangements created by garden club members drawing their inspiration from paintings or holiday cards. Philanthropy chairs Mary Carlson and Connie Maines spearheaded a “Comfort and Joy” collection of donated women’s sweaters, robes, hats, gloves and socks which were donated to the Midwest Veterans Closet in North Chicago.
