What do you do when the world turns black and white? MISSY CROWE POTH does what she knows best: bringing color to people’s lives through flowers. As owner of M on the Square, Poth says, “For a moment last year, it felt like the world turned colorless as the normal we knew shifted in the wake of a global pandemic. Never before did I think I would find myself having to navigate something so unpredictable.” But navigate she did, by bringing joy and color back to her friends’ and clients’ lives, all within recommended safety protocols. “This was possible thanks to the amazing community and my gracious clientele,” she says. M on the Square creates bespoke arrangements that have a playful and romantic style while catering to the requests of clients. The shop offers flowers, orchids, and topiaries along with unique whimsical items for gifts and the home—including books, candles, soaps, puzzles and games, and accessories. “A Power Woman is only as strong as her team,” adds Poth. “That team does not only include our incredibly hardworking M on the Square staff, but our truly special clients and the Lake Forest and North Shore communities that have supported us and lifted us up.” It’s safe to say M on the Square lifts people up daily by making the grandest, or most intimate moments of clients’ lives, beautiful beyond measure. “Whether that is a dinner with those closest to you, or celebrating a milestone with all of your family and friends, we have always existed to bring vibrant color through both our floral design and home accessories.”
M on the Square is located at 259 Market Square in Lake Forest. For more information, call 847-604-4255 or visit monthesquare.com, or on Instagram @m_onthesquare.
