The ChrisCross Foundation was founded in 2020 to assist families in need with grants to receive treatment for mental health, addiction and suicide prevention for young adults. Their work has since expanded to supporting suicide prevention programming, supporting those affected by suicide loss and mental health education to Chicagoland middle aged individuals. The ChrisCross Foundation annual event was a football tailgate theme held at the Chicago Firehouse Restaurant on September 28, 2025 with record attendance. A strong fundraising year resulted in grants for loved ones of 46 families across the country, tripling the number of families supported last year! ChrisCross Foundation’s program partners – American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Hope For The Day and Foundation House – each gave powerful/impactful speeches at the event. The growing need for assistance and how their programs work to make a difference was the theme of the speeches! Also in attendance were a few grant recipients who spoke about their struggles and how ChrisCross Foundation grants changed their lives. chriscrossfoundation.org
