Reclaim13 held its annual in-person Cherish the Dream Gala at the Westin Hotel in Lombard on October 16. The black tie optional event, decorated with Old Hollywood Glam, raised more than $540,000 to bring healing to survivors of child sexual abuse and exploitation. The theme of the evening was “Freed to be” with over 450 guests in attendance. Assistant United States Attorney, Christopher Parente shared about the efforts of the United States Attorney’s Office and Reclaim13 to bring perpetrators of crimes against children to justice and to heal young victims.
