The Lake Bluff Women’s Club’s (LBWC) fall benefit luncheon, “Caring & Sharing,” raised funds to support many local causes. Held at The White Deer Run Golf Club in Vernon Hills, area businesses went above and beyond making contributions to club’s philanthropic endeavors. In addition to providing two annual scholarships to Lake Forest High School seniors, LBWC also makes donations to A Safe Place, a shelter that provides hope to abused men and women; to PAWWS (Paws Assisting wounded Warriors), a nonprofit that provides service dogs for veterans suffering from PTSD or TBI; and initiatives that support veterans at Captain James A. Lovell Health Care Center.
