Career Prep

Career Prep

Frank Schroeder

The coronavirus pandemic may forever upend how a majority of businesses operate. With employers forced to implement work-from- home, they will be looking for additional skills from their employees, including the ability to work independently and to adapt to new ways employees communicate with each other and their managers.

Last spring, as the pandemic was unfolding, Campus2Career (C2C) launched C2C 2.0, an a la carte, budget-friendlier version of its one-on-one coaching services for recent college graduates, designed to help those who are rethinking their employment situation due to the pandemic.

“We have a 98 percent success rate in helping college graduates land the job of their choice and no organization like ours comes close,” says Frank Schroeder, CEO and Founder of C2C. “Our coaches and advisors are second to none and we feel we can help a lot of individuals whose jobs have been impacted by COVID-19.”

C2C’s flagship coaching services include its Six-Phase Program that helps pave the way for clients to successfully complete their job search.

It starts with personal assessments and continues through career development, resumé review and interview preparation, networking, negotiating an offer and onboarding, and continued coaching after the client has started work.

“The business world is rapidly changing and as we emerge from the pandemic, being prepared for and landing job interviews is going to be more important than ever,” Schroeder says. “We provide college graduates and others with the guidance they need to start their careers on the right foot or to switch careers in mid-stream.”

For parents of recent graduates, this can be a challenging time. The pandemic has been a dose of reality for many and parents can feel overwhelmed trying to help their children launch their careers. That’s where C2C comes in.

“C2C can help graduates build confidence in the face of adversity and to explore careers in fields they may not have thought of,” Schroeder says. “We take the burden of worry off parents’ shoulders and I can assure parents if their graduate puts in the effort we ask, they’ll be well on their way to a successful career.”
