More than 490 guests gathered at The Ritz-Carlton Chicago for the Camp is Gold Gala celebrating Camp One Step, a nonprofit offering free year-round camp experiences to kids with cancer and their families that foster joy, confidence, and lifelong friendships. The evening opened with a cocktail hour featuring live music, followed by the main event in a ballroom aglow with the “Golden Hour” theme. Highlights included a lively auction, a moving video showcasing camper stories, and an energizing paddle raise. The event raised over $1,000,000, ensuring more children can experience camp’s transformative magic. camponestep.org
