On Saturday, May 14 the Barrington Junior Women’s Club (BJWC) hosted their annual spring fundraiser at Moretti’s in downtown Barrington. The gathering was a fun ’90s themed event bringing together members, non-members, and their significant others for a night of dinner and dancing, raising money for the grants and sponsorships provided by BJWC every year. BJWC holds three annual events to raise funds for the community, including their fall fashion show, HOPE dinner, and the spring fundraiser. The organization gave out $80,000 in grants and scholarships this May. Founded in 1936, BJWC’s mission is to focus on philanthropy and community service in the local area.
