Mark your calendar for Thursday, July 2, when Bank Lane transforms into an open-air dining destination for Bites on Bank, Lake Forest’s inaugural street-side food festival and a highlight of the city’s expanded Independence weekend celebration.
From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., 14 local restaurants and food shops will line the newly reimagined Bank Lane, offering small plates and sample-sized bites for purchase from neighborhood favorites including Elawa Farm, Le Colonial, LF Food & Wine, and The Gallery.
The night carries right into Concert in the Square, where Industrial Drive takes the Market Square stage from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with a high-energy rock set. Whether you’re planning a date night or a family outing, this is the perfect way to start a weekend full of community celebration, summer fun, and patriotic spirit.

Bites on Bank is part of the City of Lake Forest’s broader commemoration of America’s 250th anniversary. For the full independence weekend schedule, visit cityoflakeforest.com/America250.
