This year’s Barrington Junior Women’s Club (BJWC) Fall Fashion Show was a Southerninspired in-person experience—encompassing traditional elements of previous fashion shows and exciting changes focused on Barrington’s fierce philanthropy and simplistic charm. Many local stores participated, generously loaning gorgeous clothes for the runway fashion show, including Anuyu Boutique, Tru Blu Boutique, Dibi Menswear, G & G Women’s Boutique, Game Set Style, Matilda Jane Clothing, Luxe Wearhouse, and MS Moda. BJWC has made a commitment to improving the lives of women, children, and seniors for the past 85 years, awarding community grants to organizations in line with their mission. They are dedicated to continuing the long stand tradition of philanthropy and community service. Past grant recipients from the annual Fall Fashion Show include Barrington Giving Day, Barrington Area Council on Aging, Lake County Haven, Gigi’s Playhouse, and Barrington Youth and Family Services.
