Dr. Arif Jivan is an esteemed interventional cardiologist with the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute of Northwestern Medicine and an accomplished clinical assistant professor of medicine and cardiology at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. As director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital, he leads advancements in heart care, spearheads a system-first multidisciplinary Heart Brain Team at Northwestern Medicine, co-directs the Pulmonary Embolism Response Team, and is actively developing the Structural Heart Program at Lake Forest Hospital. Colleen Sivright, a registered nurse at Lake Forest Hospital, has extensive experience working in the cardiac intensive care unit, peri-anesthesia care unit, COVID ICU, and outpatient endocrinology clinic.” As the nurse navigator, I am the patient’s primary contact while they are receiving care in the Heart Brain Clinic,” she says. “Our team works closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and community physicians including primary care, neurology, hematology, and ophthalmology to ensure patients are being referred and treated with the utmost care.”
