An award-winning broker with the @properties offices in Winnetka and Gold Coast in Chicago, Valdiserri moved to the U.S. from Sweden when she was in her 20s and started a career in event planning and fashion before finding her calling in real estate. She joined @properties 12 years ago, honing a specialty in helping international clients find trust and comfort in buying and selling— along with all other clients—from the city to the North Shore.

Why do you love what you do? I get to meet people from all over the world and help them find a house—a home! There is nothing more special to me.

2020 was a success due to? Having an expertise in both the North Shore and the city helped me see what buyers and sellers needed in both areas.

Highlight of your 2020 volume? I put $40 million under contract in 2020—my best year ever.

What sets you apart from your competition? I am very comfortable where I am at and with my experience, market knowledge, and mindset of always putting my clients interest first, people who choose to work with me know I only want what is best for them.

What is the first thing you tell your clients? Whether we are working on buying or selling, they will most likely see more of me than anyone else in their life during this process. I will be the first one they talk to in the morning and the last one before they go to bed.

Most looking forward to in 2021? All the new people I will meet and learn from. I also look forward to being able to go home and see my Swedish family—hoping the vaccine will let us travel freely again soon!
