Husband and wife team, Dave and Amy Chung, have a keen understanding of the North Shore communities they serve. As residents of the North Shore, Dave and Amy with Compass, have personal experience with the neighborhoods, schools, and organizations that make the area unique. Their deep market knowledge, mixed with a background in filmmaking, digital marketing, hospitality, and construction, make them the perfect team to guide buyers and sellers through the real estate market, no matter the climate.
What’s most rewarding about real estate?
From the very beginning, our mission has always been to help our clients get from “here to there.” It may seem simple, but there are many factors and variables that make every situation unique. Those challenges drive us, and the ultimate reward is when we can help our clients achieve their goals.
In real estate, what will never be replaced by technology?
Before real estate, we both worked in tech, so we love leveraging the latest technology to enhance our client experience and market our listings. However, real estate is an extremely hands-on job. Technology can’t replace the local expertise, knowledge, and relationships that are essential when selling real estate.
What are your top staging tips?
Staging a home is all about making it feel cohesive and complete. Our primary goal is to exceed our sellers’ expectations and really “wow” buyers, but we also think of each listing as an extension of our brand. Amy is the one who stages all of our listings. Often starting preparations months in advance, she utilizes our extensive warehouse of staging materials and brings in additional items as needed.
