ALLENDALE YOUTH BOARD POLAR PLUNGE

On November 22, 150 plungers and stair climbers took to Forest Park Beach to raise funds at Allendale Youth Board’s (AYB) first annual Polar Plunge. Friends and family turned out to show support and enjoy hot chocolate, cider, and donuts. Founded on the concept of students helping students, AYB raised more than $15k for a program to help prepare students for life after graduation. Allendale is a school in Lake Villa supporting the behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs of children in need. allendale4kids.org
