They say one of the biggest misconceptions about family law is that it will be a long, unpleasant process. “It doesn’t have to be combative at all. As lawyers, it’s our job to set a plan for our clients,” says Michael. “With focus and dedication, we can meet all parties’ needs in a sensitive yet efficient manner, accomplishing goals with less time tied up in court.” He says both he and Aggie felt a “calling” to practice law and help others. “Aggie has always been passionate about journalism and providing a voice and hope where people need it,” explains Michael. “So many of our clients come from diverse cultural backgrounds, many first-generation Americans with unique and valued perspectives. Treating our clients with respect and guiding them through the legal system is something that is not only crucial to their success but validating for us as professionals.”

The couple also believes in being active in the communities they serve, volunteering their time and talent whenever possible. Michael has been a member of numerous professional organizations and Aggie is a proud member of the Hinsdale Junior Woman’s Club. After watching how hard her own parents worked to build a life when they moved to America, Aggie is determined to pay that vision for success forward. “The power of education, and leveraging that knowledge of the legal system, is a way to pass along that dream to others,” she adds. “We both work to create a path to positive outcomes for our clients.
