First Presbyterian Church Preschool

More than 110 parents and supporters of First Presbyterian Church attended the preschool’s spring Wine Tasting Event at The Fresh Market in downtown Lake Forest on April 12. Being the first to hold a fund-raiser of this kind at the newly opened fresh produce chain, The Fresh Market provided raffle prizes, appetizers, and discounts on the evening’s purchases. More than 40 varieties of wines were sampled, provided by Southern Wine & Spirits of Illinois. Funds raised from the event went toward scholarships, a new state-of-the-art security system, and teacher training.
