Lake Forest High School Foundation

Set to the background of the elegant Exmoor Country Club, parents and supporters of the Lake Forest High School Foundation gathered on April 26 to raise funds and commemorate the 75th anniversary of the high school. Entitled “Planting a Foundation for Education,” the event featured a luncheon and silent auction that included unique items from the community as well as a selection of LFHS offerings. A special dedication of a painting by artist Mark McMahon called “Kids & Cars—A Classic Reunion” was commissioned by the Foundation and underwritten by Knauz Motors Lake Bluff. More than $50,000 was raised. Sue Harmon served as chair for the event.
