New Member Tea
Women’s Board of Catholic Charities, Lake County Services
Held at home of Debbie Stepan in Lake Bluff, members and supporters of the Women’s Board of Catholic Charities, Lake County Services kicked off their 23rd year with their annual New Member Tea. President Debby Lambert welcomed more than 75 women, discussed upcoming events, and asked all members to consider how they would like to contribute in the upcoming year. Members celebrated the success of the 2011 Art of Caring Gala as Reverend Gerard Kelly C.M., Chaplain of the Staff, presented a check to last year’s co-chairs. The needs of both the Lake County Samaritan House and the Christmas Gifts Program were also discussed. The Women’s Board continues providing opportunities for volunteerism, raising vital funds for programs, and increasing awareness of all Catholic Charities is doing for the neediest in Lake County.
