2011 Lake Bluff 4th of July Parade

This year’s theme of “Embrace Freedom” was felt throughout the parade route during the 2011 Lake Bluff 4th of July Parade. Lake Bluff Open Lands Association served as the parade marshal, as floats, bands, businesses, and the community’s youth marched along downtown Lake Bluff. In the “Just 4 Fun” category, the perennial favorite Lawn Mower Precision Drill Team took home top prize. The Lake Forest JV and Varsity Cheerleaders won in the “Youth” category, and American Legion Post 510 won in the “Community” division. The beloved event has continued to dazzle young and old alike for more than 100 years and is funded solely by donations from the community that cherishes it so dearly.
