The Occasion: More than 650 supporters of The Auxiliary of NorthShore University HealthSystem at Evanston and Glenbrook Hospitals were transported to the Greek Isles at the organization’s 39th Annual Hospitals’ Gala at Navy Pier.

The Highlights: The event was chaired by Sue Levin, featured a performance by Thodos Dance Chicago, and was capped off by fireworks over Lake Michigan.

The End Result: More than $350,000 was netted to support the DodoNA Project, a research endeavor that aims to predict, prevent, and halt disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, ALS, brain tumors, and multiple sclerosis. northshore.org
