The Occasion: Music lovers united for a night under the stars during the Gala Benefit Evening at Ravinia, which included cocktails, a tremendous performance, and dinner, presented by the Women’s Board.
The Highlights: Conductor David Alan Miller stepped in for the evening and led the Chicago Symphony Orchestra through a program that included popular selections from legendary composer George Gershwin’s most beloved music.
The VIPs: Gala co-chairs were Gail Hodges and Susan Schmitt, and Jeanne M. Denison serves as the Women’s Board Chairman.
The End Result: More than $1 million was raised to bring music back to the classroom through Ravinia’s Reach*Teach*Play education programs. ravinia.org
