The Occasion: The invite suggested to come early and stay late, and late the party did go, as the Winnetka Parks Foundation took over Tower Road Beach during their annual fête celebrating life on the North Shore.

The Highlights: As guests made their way down the tiki-torch-lined steps to the beach, they were met with a champagne reception, a beach barbeque, live radio coverage by 104.3 K-Hits, and the talented cover band 7th Heaven.

The VIPs: The biggest party of the summer was chaired by Lisa Madlener, and was co-chaired by Jetta Boschen and Jackie Gibbons Czyzynski.

The Final Tally: The funds raised went toward the Winnetka Park District and their ongoing preservation of Winnetka’s outdoor treasures. winnetkaparksfoundation.org
