The Occasion: Glitter and glitz reigned over the Lincoln Park Zoo during their annual Zoo Ball entitled “Hollywood & Vines,” including a paparazzi-lined red carpet and dry martinis.

The Highlights: The more than 1,000 guests enjoyed the Golden Age of Hollywood décor and bid on auction items such as a Scotland trip and a week-long stay in Grand Cayman.

The VIPs: The event was co-chaired by Rosemary Jones and Susan Erler, both of Chicago, and Kirsten Rider of Winnetka and was presented by Guggenheim.

The End Result: More than $1 million was raised to provide critical support to maintain the Lincoln Park Zoo. lpzoo.org
