24th Annual Hope Through Caring Award Dinner Dance

The Occasion: The Les Turner ALS Foundation held its annual award dinner dance for the 24th year in a row, set to the backdrop of the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago and to the tune of the Jack Kramer Orchestra.
The VIPs: The event was hosted by author Jonathan Eig, was chaired by Lynne and David Weinberg of Winnetka, and honored former Dean J. Larry Jameson, M.D., Ph.D., and Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine with the “Hope Through Caring” Award.
The Final Tally: The 400 guests raised more than $500,000 to support medical research, clinical care, and support services for people with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease).
