Evergreen Invitational Grand Prix
The Woman's Board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital
The Occasion: The Chicago equestrian set headed north to M.K. Pritzker’s farm in Bristol, Wisconsin, for the Evergreen Invitational, where nationally and internationally ranked riders competed for the $75,000 Grand Prix Purse.
The Cause: For the first time ever, the Woman’s Board of Northwestern Memorial Hospital partnered with the event, drumming up additional support for the organization.
The VIPs: While M.K. Pritzker played the consummate host, Laura Davis and Suzette Bulley co-chaired the event for the Woman’s Board, while Chicago native Kent Farrington won the Grand Prix.
The Perks: Horseplay was not the only item on the menu: a “Promenade of Shops” lined the white tents, featuring Graff Diamonds, Dennis Basso furs, and fall fashion from Michael Kors.
The Final Tally: More than $1,000,000 was raised to assist in aiding underfunded patient care programs, research, and community outreach initiatives at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
